![]() I am using a Wacom Cintiq 12wx if that helps. It just seems kind of odd that Zbrush pressure sensitivity doesn't work as it should on the get go. With iPad, the IAF is a lot lower and it's much easier to make predictable marks and strokes. It's something you'd probably only notice as an artist. With an SP, you need a tiny amount of pressure to make the tablet detect a stroke. The 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 and Apple Pencil 2 is the largest and fastest combination available, which makes it more expensive that other options. That's Initial Activation Force, the amount of pressure it takes for the tablet to detect contact with the pen. I don't even know which menus in Zbrush I should look for in order to get the right amount pressure sensitivity since there are many factors that contribute to it that will change it's behavior. Using a stylus through a web interface can be a laggy and miserable experience that does not compare in any way to the iPad Pro + Apple Pencil 2 experience in the Canvas app. Takes me only 1 to 2 strokes and that's it while in Zbrush it takes me multiple times. I switch over to Mudbox and I am getting the pressure sensitivity that I actually want out of my strokes doing the same equivalent thing in terms of flatten a surface to get planes and hard edges. The Pencil, which costs 79 (99), was introduced as a creative tool alongside. It takes me at least 2-3 strokes or more to get the kind of surface that I want out of it. Some people are starting to ask Apple to reveal the pressure sensitivity of the iPad Pro's Pencil accessory. The reason I ask is I am trying to practice some hard surface stuff in Zbrush and I'm not getting the type of feedback that I want out of my wacom pen. I've tried disconnecting, reconnecting, rebooting, everything I can think of. but there is no difference between pressing firmly or lightly. I know this sort of issue has been discussed before but I am curious as to what kind of settings you have to have in order to have the right amount of pressure sensitivity on your Wacom? I've heard you have to turn on the "Global settings" under the brush menu in order to get some sort pressure sensitivity from your pen. Hi, My Apple Pencil abruptly lost pressure sensitivity It connects to the Bluetooth fine, the tip is screwed in all the way, the battery is great, it can select things and draw plain lines.
